Preadmission Testing PRN- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Fayetteville

Perform Pre-Anesthesia Screening assessments to determine if a patient is optimized for planned anesthetic. Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illness or injuries while assigning ASA Physical Status Scores. Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record data including airway assessments, Mallampati scores, and heart and lung sounds. Write progress notes, prepare patient work-ups, and develop plans of care that minimize complications. Collaborate with Anesthesiologists to apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications. Work Monday through Friday 08:00 – 16:30 or 09:30-18:00 at Piedmont Augusta.
