Job Summary
Pre-Staging/Washing in a label-printing facility: set up flexo presses with tooling, clean ink trays, ink chambers, anilox rollers, and plates between runs; archive hot stamp and die-cut tooling; coordinate washups with press operators to minimize downtime; ensure proper disposal of ink residues and cleaning chemicals per environmental regulations; maintain a clean, organized work area; collaborate with production to sustain high print quality; requires high school diploma or equivalent and strong attention to detail, organization, and basic mechanical skills; capable of handling fractions/ratios/proportions and working under tight deadlines; physical duties include lifting up to 40 lbs and standing/walking portions of shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in pre-press or pre-production roles within the printing industry is a plus
- A degree in graphic communication, printing technology, or a related field is a plus
