Job Summary
Market for new referrals by conducting presentations, calling sources, and identifying community targets. Maintain contact with referral sources and communicate weekly with the Regional Supervisor regarding census projections and red flags. Process forms, conduct assessments, and complete referral packets for submission to Placement Services. Collect clinical information, verify Medicaid eligibility, and provide crisis intervention during determination. Contact service providers to discuss ongoing needs and complete accurate documentation in the EMR. Attend weekly professional development meetings and quarterly trainings. Schedule is flexible and non-traditional based on youth availability.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a social services discipline
- Must have or be eligible for Mississippi's DMH credentialing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in providing customer service and comprehensive mental health assessments
- Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
- Clinical experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
