Pre-Series Coordinator Ramp-Up Steering and Disposition

Job Summary

Support the ramp-up process for new product lines, ensuring smooth transitions from pre-series to mass production. Monitor the tracking, analysis, and disposition of pre-series parts, working closely with quality control, logistics, and manufacturing teams. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, quality, supply chain, and production, to align on schedules, quality requirements, and technical issues. Ensure adherence to production schedules and identify any bottlenecks or delays in the ramp-up process. Propose and implement corrective measures as needed. Prepare reports on ramp-up progress, key performance indicators, and any deviations from targets. Present findings to senior management. Identify potential risks in the pre-series and ramp-up stages, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines are met. Work closely with suppliers to manage the timely delivery and quality of pre-series parts, ensuring they meet specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any) or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Demonstrated experience in Automotive OEM
  • Usage of SAP MM/PP Modules
  • Material Planning & Parts Readiness
  • Project Management
  • Supply Chain Management and related IT-systems in the automotive industry
  • IT-Systems for pre-series parts readiness monitoring, technical changes and pre-series vehicle order management
  • Pre-series ramp up management
  • Automotive Greenfield operations ramp-up
  • Team coordination and building high of high-performance team
  • Quality Management System including IATS and VDA Standards
  • Ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person
  • Travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time
  • 4-5 days attendance in office
  • 18 years of age or older
