Pre-Sales Engineer I

Job Summary
The Pre-Sales Engineer I provides technical consultation to sales associates, assisting with technical questions and solution design regarding data center maintenance and network optimization. Responsibilities include participating in technical calls, developing technical expertise, creating and delivering presentations, monitoring sales processes for potential risks, and providing coaching to sales associates. Candidates should have at least three years of technical sales experience, with familiarity in data center technologies and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of successful technical sales and/or pre-sales experience
- Basic knowledge of data center topology, hardware and software
- Experience with selling server and enterprise storage and/or hardware maintenance solutions
- Experience with selling Data Center Technologies or in running Data Centers
- Knowledge of legacy hardware technologies a plus
- Experience with sales training a plus
- Evidence of strong written and verbal communications skills
Desired Qualifications
- Industry Certifications in Virtualization, Cloud, Networking, or Security
