Job Summary
Pre-Sales Engineer role at Synera on the West Coast with flexible US-based remote work. Partner with Account Executives and the CRO to design and deliver live demonstrations, translate customer challenges into tailored demos and workflows, act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering teams and decision makers, collaborate with Customer Success for smooth handoffs, and help build compelling ROI narratives for strategic deals. You’ll continuously learn about the Synera platform, deliver customized product demos, support the sales process, and develop scalable demo planning and coordination. Travel approximately 40% is expected; role emphasizes engineering-to-business value through automation demonstrations and technical storytelling.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Pre-Sales Engineer in B2B SaaS
- Comfortable working with technically complex products
- Experience with CAD / CAE systems and ability to build or manipulate models
- Understanding of mechanical parts and manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, casting, molding, milling, or deep drawing
- Enjoy evangelizing technology and getting customers excited about new possibilities
- Excellent communication and storyteller abilities to simplify complex technical concepts
- Curious and process-oriented mindset to continuously improve workflows
- Willingness to travel regularly (around 40%)
