Job Summary
Senior Pre-Sales Engagement Lead responsible for shaping, leading, and closing HP’s most complex and high-value managed print services (MPS) pursuits. Operates at enterprise scale, guiding pursuit strategy, deal structuring, and commercial negotiations across multi-year, multi-million-dollar engagements. Owns end-to-end pursuit lifecycle from qualification to contract signature and handover to delivery, ensuring profitability and long-term customer value realization. Requires deep expertise in solution selling, financial modeling (ROI, TCO, profitability analysis), and cross-functional orchestration, with the ability to influence global teams and executive stakeholders. Leads strategic, customer-centric value propositions, drives cross-functional alignment across sales, finance, legal, delivery, product, and operations, and mentors junior team members. Important capabilities include Strategic Pursuit Leadership, Complex Deal Structuring & Negotiation, Solution Development & Pricing Strategy, Financial Modeling & Business Case Development, Stakeholder & Executive Engagement, Contract & Risk Management, and an opportunities-to-delivery transition. Typical impact ranges from $500K to $100M+, with global collaboration and potential for bonus/equity in the US; on-target earnings details may vary by location.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in pre-sales, pursuit management, deal strategy, or business development in managed services, SaaS, or technology environments
- Proven track record leading large, complex cross-functional deals with material financial impact
