Job Summary
Pre-Sales Cloud Architect to join UpCloud's international Sales and Solutions team in Helsinki. Design and architect cloud-based solutions on UpCloud’s IaaS/PaaS, lead technical discovery with prospective customers, guide PoCs and migrations, advocate on cloud architecture, security, and data sovereignty, represent at industry events, provide technical feedback to product, and contribute to RFP/RFI responses. Must have a strong architectural mindset in cloud-native or hybrid environments, deep IaaS/PaaS expertise, excellent communication to CTOs and SysAdmins, hands-on Linux/Windows with automation/IaC, and fluency in Finnish and English. Hybrid remote work from Helsinki office preferred. Nice-to-haves include Terraform, Kubernetes, Managed Databases, GDPR knowledge, and prior Pre-Sales/Solutions Architecture experience in cloud. Salary range ~6000-8000 EUR/month plus variable commissions; six weeks vacation; flexible/remote-friendly culture; extensive healthcare and other benefits.
