Job Summary
Oversee the Post-Processing Pre-Roll team, including scheduling, packaging production, rework, and batch record keeping. Review daily production plans, troubleshoot packaging line jams, and train operators on process changes while tracking productivity and quality metrics. Maintain compliance with packaging and labeling standards, complete quality control audits, and input data into state software. Support daily operation of production machines by diagnosing, adjusting, and maintaining complex industrial equipment, including PLC-controlled systems and performing tag-in/tag-out procedures. Manage inventory of packaging goods and consumables. Work Thursday–Sunday on a 4/10 schedule at the Sinse Cherokee facility, reporting to Post-Processing management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop a production team
- Strong mechanical aptitude, with hands-on experience on automated production and packaging equipment
- Comfort reviewing data and navigating Microsoft Suite applications
- Detail-oriented with a skill for numbers and accurate record keeping
- Effective communication skills across the department and support teams
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Agent ID
- Able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Able to lift over 30 lbs
- Able to sit and stand for extended periods and maneuver around a warehouse-type environment
- Able to push carts and wheelbarrows of up to 50 lbs
- Daily reaching or working above shoulder height
- Thursday–Sunday 4/10 schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Proven ability to coach a team
- Troubleshooting experience with a jammed packaging line
- Experience troubleshooting complex, high-speed industrial and packaging machinery
- Experience with setup, line balancing, and jam/rollback prevention
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled systems, HMI alarms, and basic ladder logic
- Experience performing tag-in/tag-out (LOTO) procedures
- Experience with alignment, tensioning, lubrication, and component replacement
- Experience managing inventory of packaging goods and consumables
