Pre-Registration Scheduler

Pre-Registration Scheduler in the Patient Financial Services and Revenue Cycle team. Responsible for collecting and verifying patient demographics and insurance information, performing insurance verification and prior authorization checks, ensuring accurate data in the Pre-registration worklist and related systems (Medhost, Simple Interact), coordinating scheduling for Radiology and Surgical procedures, managing outpatient testing schedules (EKGs, PFTs, ABGs), communicating with patients about insurance denials and medical necessity, and ensuring regulatory compliance (No Surprises Act) and efficient scheduling timelines. Requires attention to detail, strong customer service, proficiency with computers/health information systems, and familiarity with CHAM/CRCS certifications preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required (Associates degree or higher preferred).
