Job Summary
Pre-flight customer orders, prepare files for digital and large format printing, and manage projects through Ordant. Design newsletters, postcards, and business cards on tight deadlines while collaborating with customers on proof approvals. Process mailing lists via Bulk Mailer software and maintain quality standards throughout the production workflow. Multitask between projects and communicate effectively with supervisors and departments. Requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MAC environments. Full-time position with minimum $23/hour pay, located in Pala, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Degree/Certificate from design program
- 3-5 years experience in design and prepress in a printing company
- minimum 2 years experience in design and prepress in a printing company
- Proficient in design and production software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in English via phone, email, and in person
- Must be able to operate successfully under strict deadlines
- Ability to periodically lift 40lbs (w/assistance) or more to load and unload material into large format
- Candidates are required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
- Proficient in predominantly MAC environments
Desired Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree or Degree/Certificate from design program preferred
- Preferred 3-5 years (minimum 2 years) experience in design and prepress in a printing company
- Preferred experience in Smart Stream Designer and Pit Stop

- Sign Shop or Large Format experience a Plus
