Provide general nursing care to patients and families in perioperative and operating room settings; the RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs/UAPs, and conducts assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Responsibilities include initial and ongoing health-status assessment; planning and documenting interventions to achieve outcomes; evaluating patient responses and revising care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; participating in process improvement to enhance clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and financial performance; and performing other duties as requested in a High Reliability Organization (HRO) framework. Minimum qualifications include RN licensure in Ohio, BLS, and a nursing degree (BSN preferred with 5 years of employment; ADN acceptable). The role isPart-Time and based in Grove City, OH at Grove City Methodist Hospital, with a focus on perioperative and post-anesthesia care in an acute care setting.
