Job Summary
Conduct preoperative assessments and manage post-anesthesia recovery for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures including joint replacement, sports medicine, spine, and hand surgery. Recognize changes in patient condition, provide pain management, and execute discharge planning while collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care ensuring a safe surgical experience from admission through discharge. Join a Medicare-certified, AAAHC-accredited ambulatory surgery center specializing in same-day orthopedic procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse
- experience caring for patients undergoing total joint replacement
- experience caring for patients undergoing sports medicine procedures
- experience caring for patients undergoing spine procedures
- experience caring for patients undergoing hand procedures
- experience caring for patients undergoing foot and ankle procedures
- experience caring for patients undergoing other orthopedic procedures
- skill at recognizing changes in patient condition
