Pre-op, Operating Room, PACU Ambulatory Surgery Charge Nurse / RN Clinician Charge

Coordinate daily operations for a specific shift in pre-op, operating room, or PACU ambulatory surgery settings. Supervise staff, facilitate communication with physicians and administrators, and lead efforts to strengthen organizational systems. Mentor Registered Nurses on charge functions, foster leadership development, and provide direction on policies, scheduling, and assignments. Evaluate resource use, coordinate staffing to meet department needs, and initiate tests of change for managerial problems. Ensure compliance with policies, educational requirements, and regulatory agency reviews while advocating for nurses and addressing customer concerns.
