Job Summary
Review medical records, bills, and accident reports to evaluate damages and liability. Draft persuasive demand letters that clearly present liability, injuries, treatment, and damages. Develop case-specific settlement strategies designed to maximize compensation and identify opportunities to strengthen cases before or after initial insurance offers. Collaborate with attorneys and negotiators to revise demand strategies based on insurer responses. Ensure all demand packages are accurate, complete, and submitted within established deadlines while maintaining organized documentation in the case management system. Stay current on insurance practices, negotiation strategies, and personal injury case law relevant to pre-litigation matters.
Required Qualifications
- Experience drafting personal injury demand letters in a pre-litigation environment
- Strong legal writing and persuasive communication skills
- Ability to analyze medical records, billing records, and insurance policies
