Job Summary
Pre-Litigation Case Manager at TopDog Law in New York, responsible for assisting attorneys and claims verification specialists in reviewing and assessing Personal Injury claims, investigating cases for compensability, identifying proper defendants, communicating with insurance adjusters, preparing no-fault and MVIAC applications, coordinating medical referrals and treatment documentation, organizing and filing case materials, and supporting claims from intake through pre-suit resolution by gathering documentation, preparing demand packages, and maintaining compassionate client communication.
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience supporting Personal Injury pre-litigation matters on cases in New York
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience requesting, reviewing, and summarizing medical records and bills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently while collaborating with a team
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate (not required)
- Experience in high-volume or fast-growing law firms
- Familiarity with Personal Injury claims processes and insurance procedures
- Experience with case management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, SmartAdvocate)
- Comfort working in evolving systems and processes
