Job Summary
Pre-Litigation Attorney focused on all aspects of personal injury cases up to filing a complaint, supervising staff, evaluating case merits, counseling clients, conducting medical case reviews, performing legal research, and negotiating settlements in the pre-litigation stage. Strong emphasis on client service, teamwork, and effective negotiation. Requires New Jersey law license and active experience in client contact and negotiation; capable of managing a large caseload and delivering clear written and verbal communication, investigative acumen, and decisive guidance to a team.
Required Qualifications
- A license in good standing to practice law in New Jersey
- At least two years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation experience
- Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills
- The ability to handle a large and active caseload
- Prioritization of client representation and customer service
- Excellent investigator and problem-solver skills
- Success providing direction and guidance to a team of staff
- Formidable negotiation skills
