Job Summary
Pre-K Teacher at Uncommon Schools leading/co-teaching in a lead-apprentice teaching team to cultivate literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, and core knowledge through engaging, student-centered instruction. Collaborate with lead and apprentice teachers to facilitate centers, small-group instruction, and data-informed differentiation. Support classroom culture and social-emotional development, implement the CARE framework, analyze weekly assessment trends with the Director, and assist with administrative tasks and family partnerships to ensure student learning and positive school experiences. Requires a bachelor’s degree and NJ certification eligibility; certification within a reasonable period after starting employment is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NJ state certification eligibility requirements
- All instructional staff are required to become certified in the state of New Jersey within a reasonable period after beginning employment.
