Job Summary
Pre-K Teacher needed to co-teach in an CARE-focused classroom, delivering literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies while supporting social-emotional development. Responsibilities include coordinating with lead and apprentice teachers, differentiating instruction based on data trends, facilitating free-choice centers and small groups, analyzing student work with the Director, collaborating with families, and supporting daily school operations. Requires a bachelor’s degree and NJ certification-eligibility (certification pursued after start); 1-2 years of urban-school experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NJ state certification eligibility requirements (certification not prerequisite but must meet requirements)
- All instructional staff are required to become certified in New Jersey within a reasonable period after beginning employment.
- 1-2 years of experience in urban schools is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ social-emotional and academic development
