Job Summary
Uncommon Teachers — Pre-K in a network of high-performing charter schools across Boston, Camden, NYC, Newark, Rochester, and Maple Shade — collaborate with a lead and apprentice teacher to co-teach a joyful, rigorous early learning environment. Build literacy, math, science, and social studies foundations through literacy instruction, phonics, and purposeful play; use data and assessments to differentiate instruction; foster a positive classroom culture aligned with CARE values; support administrative tasks and family partnerships; participate in weekly meetings and professional development to sustain high-quality instruction in urban settings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NJ state certification eligibility requirements (certification not prerequisite)
- Ability to meet NJ certification requirements within a reasonable period after beginning employment
