Job Summary
Pre-K Teacher at Uncommon Schools leading co-taught, engaging classrooms that foster curiosity, mastery, and SEL development. Responsibilities include teaching literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies; collaborating with lead and apprentice teachers; analyzing student work trends with the Director; differentiating instruction; implementing Uncommon’s instructional model; using data sources for day-to-day instructional decisions; partnering with families; and supporting daily school operations, classroom culture, and behavior interventions. Requires a bachelor’s degree; NJ certification eligibility and future NJ certification within a reasonable period after starting. Compensation ranges from $56,000 to $80,000 with comprehensive benefits; full-time role in multiple campuses across Boston, Camden, NYC, Newark, and Rochester.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- NJ state certification eligibility requirements
- All instructional staff required to become certified in New Jersey within a reasonable period after beginning employment
