Job Summary
Pre-K Lead Teacher and Early Childhood Judaic Teacher role at Seattle Hebrew Academy. Lead a Pre-K classroom and support Judaic learning across EC classrooms (ages 1–5) with a focus on relationship-based care, play-based and developmentally appropriate experiences, early literacy and math readiness, and integration of Jewish values and Hebrew language. Collaborative team member with responsibilities across general early childhood and Judaic instruction, fostering a nurturing classroom environment, promoting social-emotional development, and engaging families.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with young children (Pre-K experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Background in Jewish education, Judaic studies, or relevant experience
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Warm, patient, and relationship-focused approach
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
