Job Summary
Lead and supervise the after-school Pre-K program at Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary School, guiding program operations and staff to deliver quality childcare. Plan and lead engaging activities across fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support; oversee attendance, registration, and staffing levels; maintain clear family communication via the Playground App; collaborate with the direct supervisor to maintain high staff morale and proactive problem-solving; ensure compliance with state regulations and host school requirements; must be willing to lead and motivate a team and meet physical demands (up to 50 lbs).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 credits in early childhood education, child development, or related field OR Associate’s degree with plan toward Bachelor’s OR New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential OR CDA or other credential with plan toward Bachelor’s or NYS Credential, plus required teaching and supervision experience
- Pass NYS OCFS background check
