Job Summary
Lead Teacher role responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring fellow teachers; managing a safe, nurturing classroom aligned with the LEAP Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool; creating an engaging, play-based learning environment; communicating with families about children’s progress via mobile apps and conversations; collaborating with center staff to support enrollment and engagement goals; building strong relationships with families and coworkers to foster a dynamic learning atmosphere where play and learning occur seamlessly.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred
- At least six months of professional teaching experience required
- Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred
- High school diploma/GED required
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aide certification preferred
- Must meet state specific guidelines for the role
