Job Summary
Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion. Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children in the program. Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies. Support program operations by managing attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities. This part-time role at Montague Township Elementary School aligns with the school calendar and offers employer-paid childcare for enrolled children.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience working with kids under 13
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability
