Job Summary
Perform thorough multipoint inspections of incoming vehicles to diagnose problems and determine repair procedures. Implement U-Haul quality standards and allocate necessary parts and labor on work orders for technicians. Execute basic mechanical repairs as needed while utilizing proprietary technology to assess field vehicles. Maintain a clean driving record and stay current with automotive technology through company education programs. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring moderate physical exertion and adherence to safety precautions around moving parts and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools
- Understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields
