Job Summary
Inspect finished machines against published acceptance criteria, paint and weld standards, and assembly drawings before shipping. Record inspection conditions on checklists and return them to QA on the agreed interval. Provide feedback to supervision and management regarding product quality. Perform minor rework on hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical components as directed, which is then re-inspected and accepted. Sound test units to customer requirements or country directives when required. Maintain a safe work environment while lifting up to 50 lbs. Schedule is onsite in Madison, South Dakota with a base pay of $24.00-$25.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of all model machines built at Madison facility
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills
- Must exhibit physical abilities to lift up to 50 lbs, safely
- Self starter
- Team player
- Ability to multitask
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings
- Must be able to read and interpret standard work instructions
- Must be able to read and interpret checklists
- Must be able to read and interpret internal and external deviations
- Excellent oral communication with all levels of personnel within the plant
- Excellent written communication with all levels of personnel within the plant
- Computer skills
- Authorized to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of Google
