Job Summary
Pre-Construction Project Manager to coordinate between development, design and construction for multi-family / LIHTC projects. You will engage in pre-design discussions, attend design meetings, review budgets and design sets, obtain LOIs for utilities, manage design/bid processes, coordinate with Smartsheet and PlanGrid, and contribute value engineering ideas to keep projects cost-effective and on schedule. The role involves guiding ownership from project inception to construction, providing preliminary construction schedules, and ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines across design, permitting, and construction phases. Strong collaboration with development, design, and construction teams, plus a focus on accuracy and detail, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 10 Years +- experience as a Construction Project Manager, preferably with some experience in pre-construction activities
- Technical college degree, 4-year degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods
- Good understanding of building codes and requirements
- Solid understanding of MS Office and Excel
- Experience with Smartsheet and PlanGrid
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings with general understanding of Civil Engineering plans and MEP design
- Highly detail-oriented and organized; able to work with various teams to reach goals
- Ability to assist the DPC as needed with various tasks
