Job Summary
The Patient Benefit Representative coordinates insurance and benefit analysis prior to service delivery, reviews appointments/admissions for financial responsibility, secures authorizations, manages insurance processes, and coordinates with payors to ensure timely reimbursement. The role also includes securing insurance referrals as needed and mentoring fellow Patient Benefit staff. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and written skills are required, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; physical requirements include lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking.
