Job Summary
Provide materials to production areas and transfer finished product to the warehouse, tagging and putting away items as assigned. Transport cheese to appropriate aging cells, ensure organization of cooler/ageing cells, and handle cleaning chemicals while maintaining compliance with food safety policies. Keep accurate inventories of packaging and cheese supplies, make out pallet tickets, and verify pallet, box, tag, barcodes, and tally sheet information. Accurately complete all required paperwork and computer entries, including safety inspections and checks on forklifts. Requires current forklift license and proficiency in safe operation; starting wage is $27.43 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current forklift license
- Must be proficient with forklift safe operation
- Knowledge of production inventory control operations
- Proficient in use of the computer
- Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
