Job Summary
Assembler responsible for general line tasks on cheese packaging: unload wheels from racks, bag and convey cheese, monitor belts and cryovac operations, stack sealed wheels, wash racks and sanitize production equipment, and verify pallet/tag/tally data. Employees rotate through all positions on the line and must meet sanitation and safety standards, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cool production environment. Starting wage $26.15/hour, with equal employment opportunity practices in place.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and understand instructions.
- Maintain sanitation and housekeeping practices.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, and other physical requirements.
- Must be able to work in a cool environment (<60°F).
- Regular attendance.
