Job Summary
Engage in exciting projects at ZEISS by optimizing and ensuring the functionality of products or developing simulation software for performance evaluation. Responsibilities include developing or enhancing software solutions and algorithms, documenting solutions and workflows, supporting repository management, and developing a fundamental understanding of optics and lighting design to qualitatively implement software solutions. Applicants should have a background in physics or engineering, strong programming skills in Matlab and Python, and a collaborative team spirit.
Required Qualifications
- Studying in the field of natural sciences/engineering such as Physics, Computational Physics/Math, Simulation Technology, Computer Science or a similar discipline
- Strong scientific curiosity and willingness to engage in the physics of lithography systems, particularly in the field of illumination
- Motivated, structured and independent working style with very good communication skills
- Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Good programming skills, preferably in Matlab and Python
- Experience and interest in sustainable software development
