Job Summary
Analyze and document the entire manufacturing process from material preparation to finished components for refractory metal pressing. Create a practical handbook for four pressing machines covering manual and automated processes, while standardizing tools, workflows, and quality requirements. Investigate relevant influencing factors such as material, geometry, lubrication, and heat treatment in collaboration with production, planning, and development teams. Present findings to optimize pressing processes for refractory metals. This four-to-six-month internship begins in autumn 2026 at Plansee's headquarters in Reutte, Austria, offering on-site housing and daily meals.
Required Qualifications
- Laufendes technisches Studium im Bereich Maschinenbau (mit Schwerpunkt Umformtechnik, Werkstofftechnik, Fertigungstechnik, Produktionstechnik oder in einem verwandten Fachgebiet)
- HTL oder ähnliches
- Interesse an Umformtechnik und Hochleistungswerkstoffen
- Analytisches Denkvermögen
- selbstständige Arbeitsweise
- Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
- Teamfähigkeit
- Kommunikationsstärke
