Job Summary
Sand and prepare wood, build and assemble frames, and work with reclaimed and vintage materials. Perform surface restoration and finishing, assist in workshop production, and gain insight into conservation framing, glass cutting, paper handling, and mounting techniques. Support daily studio operations while working approximately 6.5 hours per day, four days per week in an active environment. This three-week practicum suits those seeking hands-on experience in sustainable craftsmanship, art handling, and creative production at Frameworks Berlin.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in craftsmanship, woodworking, art, or design
- Reliable and motivated attitude
- Willingness to work physically and learn hands-on
- Minimum practicum duration: 3 weeks
- Basic experience using tools and working with wood
- Confidence working physically with materials and tools
- Ability to work approximately 6.5 hours per day, 4 days per week in an active workshop environment
