Job Summary

Hematologist/Oncologist to provide inpatient consultative care and outpatient oncology services at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. Responsibilities include managing new cancer diagnoses and treatment plans, overseeing the chemotherapy infusion suite, performing bone marrow biopsies, interpreting diagnostic studies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, participating in quality improvement, peer review, and teaching initiatives, and delivering compassionate education and support to Veterans and their families. Opportunity offers work-life balance with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), on-call manageable, relocation assistance, generous PTO, federal pension and 401K-style retirement, malpractice coverage, CME support, and academic/teaching opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Hematologist/Oncologist license and board certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • MD or DO
  • medical license
  • ability to obtain/maintain VA credentialing
