Job Summary
Practice Hematologist/Oncologist at a VA Medical Center with responsibilities including inpatient consultative care and outpatient oncology, managing new cancer diagnoses and treatment plans, overseeing the chemotherapy infusion suite, performing bone marrow biopsies, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Engage in quality improvement, peer review, and teaching initiatives; provide compassionate education and support to Veterans and families. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with manageable on-call; relocation incentives available; generous PTO (up to 50–55 days/year); CME support; opportunities for teaching and academic involvement; nationwide VA mobility and career growth; Malpractice coverage provided; No non-compete and moonlighting allowed.
