Job Summary
Lead Hematology/Oncology care for Veterans at a VA Medical Center with inpatient consultative and outpatient oncology responsibilities. Manage new cancer diagnoses and ongoing treatment plans, oversee the chemotherapy infusion suite, perform bone marrow biopsies, interpret diagnostic studies, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive Veteran care. Contribute to quality improvement, participate in peer review and teaching initiatives, and provide patient and family education and support. Includes opportunities for CME, academic/teaching activities, relocation assistance, and a favorable work-life balance in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment.
