Job Summary
Hematologist/Oncologist opportunity at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. Provide inpatient consultative care and outpatient oncology services, manage new cancer diagnoses and ongoing treatment plans, oversee the chemotherapy infusion suite, perform bone marrow biopsies and interpret diagnostic studies, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive Veteran care, participate in quality improvement, peer review, and teaching initiatives, and support patient and family education. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with on-call duties; benefits include recruitment incentives, relocation assistance, substantial PTO, federal pension, CME support, and malpractice coverage.
