Job Summary
Manage complex scheduling tasks, including appointment booking, template adjustments, and patient outreach. Serve as a role model and mentor for support staff while assisting with onboarding and training. Ensure accurate data collection, handle follow-up activities, and track referrals. Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving escalated issues and overseeing waiting room operations. Complete and process FMLA forms, verify patient information, and assist with check-in/check-out processes. Collaborate with supervisors on coverage and workflow, lead huddles as needed, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. May float to three other practices when required. Full-time, 40-hour week from 8AM to 5PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must be able to float to 3 other practices in the area when needed to provide coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Proven solid technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software and electronic medical records systems (Epic or equivalent)
- Proven solid problem solving and complex patient management skills
