Job Summary
Manage complex scheduling tasks including appointment booking, template adjustments, and patient outreach while serving as a key member of the medical team. Ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and follow-up activities for referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription renewals. Oversee waiting room operations, verify patient information, and assist with check-in/check-out processes while delivering exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues. Mentor support staff by assisting with onboarding and training, and collaborate with supervisors on coverage, workflow huddles, and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 1+ years of healthcare or medical office experience
- 1+ years of Epic experience

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in medical office administration program
- Proven solid technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software and electronic medical records systems (Epic or equivalent)
- Proven solid problem solving and complex patient management skills
