Job Summary
Conduct specialized, interdisciplinary care for patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis through dedicated clinics at the UPMC Sjögren's Disease Center and Vasculitis Center. Deliver inpatient care across Pittsburgh-based UPMC hospitals while participating in clinical trials to advance patient outcomes and research. Provide quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Engage with academic and basic science colleagues by attending faculty meetings, serving on committees, addressing quality concerns, and leading grand rounds. Join a distinguished cohort of physicians within the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification and board eligibility (BC/BE) in Rheumatology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
