Job Summary
Conduct specialized, interdisciplinary care for patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis at dedicated UPMC centers while covering general rheumatology clinics and providing inpatient care across the Pittsburgh hospital system. Lead clinical trials in Sjögren's and vasculitis, and deliver quality instruction, training, and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in division and departmental faculty meetings, serve on committees, and address quality concerns through grand rounds and academic collaboration. Join a distinguished cohort of physicians at a nationally ranked rheumatology practice with a 4-day work week and minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board certified and board eligible (BC/BE) in Rheumatology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
