Job Summary
Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system at Pittsburgh-based hospitals, with dedicated clinics at the Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis Centers. Participate in Sjögren's and vasculitis clinical trials to advance patient care and research. Provide quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Interact with academic and basic science colleagues by attending faculty meetings, serving on committees, and addressing quality concerns. Work a 4-day week with a minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification and Board Eligibility (BC/BE) in Rheumatology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
