Job Summary

Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system at Pittsburgh-based hospitals, including a minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year. Deliver specialized, interdisciplinary care to patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis at dedicated centers while participating in clinical trials to advance patient care and research. Provide quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Interact with academic and basic science colleagues by attending faculty meetings, serving on committees, addressing quality concerns, and participating in grand rounds. Required Qualifications

  • MD or equivalent
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Board certification and board eligibility (BC/BE) in Rheumatology
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
  • Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
  • Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
  • Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
