Job Summary
Conduct specialized, interdisciplinary care for patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis at dedicated UPMC clinics and provide inpatient care within the Pittsburgh hospital system. Participate in Sjögren's and vasculitis clinical trials to advance patient care and research. Deliver quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Interact with academic and basic science colleagues by attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees, addressing quality concerns, and participating in grand rounds. Maintain a 4-day work week with a minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable), supported by a competitive base salary plus RVU incentives, health insurance, malpractice coverage, and a relocation allowance.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification and board eligibility (BC/BE) in Rheumatology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completion of an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
