Job Summary
Conduct specialized, interdisciplinary care for patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis at dedicated UPMC centers while covering general rheumatology clinics and providing inpatient care. Participate in Sjögren's and vasculitis clinical trials to advance patient care and research, and deliver quality instruction and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Engage with academic and basic science colleagues by attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees, and addressing quality concerns through grand rounds. Join a distinguished cohort of physicians renowned for expertise and professionalism within the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification in Rheumatology (BC/BE)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
