Job Summary
Conduct specialized, interdisciplinary care for patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis at dedicated UPMC centers, covering general rheumatology clinics and providing inpatient care across the Pittsburgh hospital system. Participate in Sjögren's and vasculitis clinical trials to advance patient care and research while delivering quality instruction and mentorship to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Interact with academic and basic science colleagues by attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees, addressing quality concerns, and leading grand rounds. Maintain a 4-day work week with a minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable).
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Board certification in Rheumatology (BC/BE)
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license
- Completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology
- Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials
- Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and/or salivary gland ultrasound
