Practice Operations Manager (LCSW) - Palliative Care division

Job Summary
Implement Empath Health Medical Services and Palliative Care policies to ensure efficient practice operations, including scheduling, billing, collections, and vendor relations. Design and revise clinical policies, analyze daily workflows, and implement necessary changes in partnership with leadership. Oversee financial operations by assisting with budget implementation, invoice approvals, lease management, and contract file maintenance. Support the psychosocial needs of patients and families through assessments, case management, and advocacy to maximize service benefits. Act as a liaison with physicians and medical staff to ensure necessary oversight and operational support.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of Social Work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
- at least one year of social work experience in a healthcare setting
- current Florida license or is registered with the State of Florida as a Registered Intern actively working on licensure
- Minimum of three years mid-level practice administration experience or related management experience
- LCSW or registered social work intern licensed eligible
Desired Qualifications
- Medical practice manager certification such as the CPPM preferred
- Knowledge of Hospice, Palliative, or Primary care practice operations experience a plus
