Job Summary
Lead, support and manage a team of nurses while overseeing the efficient day-to-day operation of the treatment room. Coach, train and mentor clinical staff to achieve outstanding patient outcomes, delivering a range of clinical procedures and providing hands-on nursing support when required. Coordinate staffing levels and workflows to meet the needs of the practice, assist GPs with health assessments and management plans, and maintain high standards of clinical governance and safety. Partner with the Practice Manager to understand operational performance and support the effective management of the practice as the centre enters its next stage of growth. No night shifts or weekend work, with ongoing training and professional development available.
Required Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated leadership or people-management experience
- Previous nursing experience in general practice, primary care or an acute clinical setting
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and patient-service skills
- A supportive leadership style and genuine passion for developing people
- The ability to balance clinical responsibilities with operational leadership
