Job Summary
Manage all aspects of social work and foster care practice while leading the Wellington Service Centre team. Liaise with local service providers and government agencies to ensure coordinated care. Provide day-to-day team leadership and practice supervision, ensuring alignment with the Open Home Foundation's Christian Kaupapa and special relationship between Māori and Tauiwi. Requires a Social Work qualification, SWRB registration, and knowledge of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989. Full-time position with an annual salary of $95,250–$122,464. Required Qualifications
- A Social Work qualification
- Registration with the SWRB or be eligible for registration
- Knowledge and experience in Care and Protection Social Work
- Good knowledge of The Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 and its Family Court processes
- Proven Leadership/Management experience & Practice Supervision
- A full driver's license
- An alignment with the Open Home Foundation's Christian Kaupapa
